ABOUt

Camp Wegesegum is a place for campers of all ages and backgrounds to connect, explore, and grow in a faith-based setting. Through inspiring leadership, outdoor adventures, and meaningful experiences, we foster personal growth, strong friendships, and a deep appreciation for nature —all in a fun and supportive community.

general

STAFFING
The ratio of staff to campers is approximately 1 to 5. In addition, Camp Wegesegum operates a "Counselor in Training" program.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Cabins house the campers and counselors (up to 9 per cabin). Each cabin comes complete with memories and a comfortable bed for each camper.

CANOEING
The Canadian tradition of canoeing is a skill that every camper should learn and love. Water safety and basic canoe skills are offered.

CRAFTS
Remarkable works of art are produced as a result of the craft program.

FOOD
The menu at Wegesegum provides well balanced, nutritious meals, courtesy of our resident cook.

SWIMMING

Fully qualified lifeguards supervise the swimming program offered at the camp pool.

CAMPFIRE & VESPERS
Our chapel and campfire areas are very near and dear to the hearts of generations of Wegie Campers. Join us along the banks of the Salmon River for an evening Vespers service followed by songs and skits around the campfire.
