Boy's Adventure Camp
Boy's Adventure Camp (BAC) was a long-standing camp at Wegesegum, founded in the 1970s by Robert O'Brien and Cst. Butch Cogswell. BAC provided a true summer camp experience to youth primarily from the Saint John area -- with access to positive role models, powerful friendships, and time spent among the beautiful Wegesegum pines and scenic Salmon River. This program was offered free of charge, made possible by the generosity of community donors and sponsors.
The impact of BAC has stayed with campers, volunteers, and staff long after the summer ends. The lasting mark of camp has led to countless friendships and meaningful connections. The moments of joy become part of who they are, leaving memories that continue to shape them for years to come.
