Day Camp

Day Camp
Ages 5–12

Big themes. Big energy. Big memories.
Day Camp at Camp Wegesegum is the ultimate way to wrap up the summer—and it’s one of our most loved (and most carefully planned!) programs. Each year features a wildly creative theme that turns the entire week into an immersive camp experience. If you’ve heard stories about Camp Candyland, Fairytale Land, Pirate Adventure, or WASP (Wegesegum Academy of Spies and Private Eyes), you know we go all in.

Camp runs Monday to Wednesday from 8:00am–4:00pm, packed with crafts, games, nature exploration, canoeing, swimming, singing, campfire, chapel—and yes, an absurd amount of Jello.

On Thursday, campers arrive as usual at 8:00am… but this time, the day ends with the most epic sleepover of the summer, with pick-up the following morning. For many campers, this is their first time staying away from home—and we treat that moment with care, intention, and lots of encouragement.

Our staff and volunteers spend significant time preparing for Day Camp. Counselors are trained to support a wide age range, help campers feel connected, and build trust from day one. Campers stay with consistent counselors all week, creating strong bonds and a sense of safety that helps even the youngest campers feel comfortable and confident.

For kids, Day Camp is pure joy, creativity, and adventure.
For parents, it’s peace of mind—knowing their child is safe, supported, and having the time of their life.
Huge effort. Huge payoff. Every single time.
