Little Rangers is a nature-based day camp designed especially for our youngest campers. Created in 2021, this program has grown every year and now often fills to capacity—with a waitlist—because families love the care, intention, and joy that make Little Rangers so special.
Throughout the week, campers explore nature, play outside, swim, and enjoy a camp experience built at their pace. Days are structured, supportive, and fun, with plenty of time for movement, creativity, and discovery. Campers bring a lunch each day and spend their time learning through play in a safe, welcoming environment.
We know that for many families, this is a child’s first experience away from home. Our trained staff focus on building strong connections with each camper, helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for from day one. We take the time to learn each child’s needs and create a space where they feel safe to explore and be themselves.
Little Rangers helps campers form an early bond with Camp Wegesegum—so they grow up knowing this is a place they belong, a place that’s here for them, and a place they can return to year after year.
